We need help with sorting through and helping to identify radio-related items at Bob’s W2OD (SK) home during the dates and time below.

Bob’s dedication to the club and amateur radio was long and important to him until his last days so a good turnout is both helpful and very appreciated to his family.

Items that can be sold or made available for ham radio use will be sorted for either use or sale by GSARA. Items that have no value will be moved to a dumpster to help the family. There is a large area to sort through and several antennas we need to take down from the roof.

March 29th from 10am-2pm

March 3/30 from 12-4pm

TUESDAY NET

Tuesday night net at 8:30 PM – GSARA repeater. Informal and fun and you don’t have to be a member of GSARA: REPEATER FREQUENCY W2GSA 147.045 (+) PL 67

10 METER NET

Tuesdays at 8:00 pm: SSB on ten meters on 28.390 MHz. Even those with just a technician license can join on SSB. Everyone welcome!

THURSDAY NIGHT Coffee Klatch – Membership meetings first Thursday of each month at 7:30pm and Business meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30. Membership meeting will meet at the American Red Cross, 1540 W Park Ave, Ocean Township, NJ 07712

What’s Discord?

The FREE Text, Audio and Video collaboration system.

We have created a Discord server specifically for GSARA members. Within the server, are several channels for different topics we care about. If you’d like to join us on our Discord server, you need to sign up for a FREE account on Discord. We ask our members to use their first name / callsign as their screen name. Then you can install and use the Discord App or software on your phone, tablet or computer. Discord makes the software available for many devices. Or, you can use the web-based Discord interface. See their web site for how to do that. Once you have created an account on Discord, you will need an invitation to become a member of our GSARA server. Everyone is welcome to the meetings of the GSARA.

We meet on the first Thursday of the month for the regular meeting and the third Thursday of the month for the business meeting.

All meetings begin formally at 7:30 pm but doors will be open at 7 for schmoozing.

The meetings always take place at the Red Cross Building on West Park and Shafto Road in Tinton Falls.
